There will be no My Sunday Feeling this Sunday for a couple of reasons. One: I'm not sure I will have power or Internet after Ike gets through here and Two: If I do, I will be busy at my new second job helping to run a local do-gooder organization that has had some recent personnel changes to go along with its current high drama.
I am busy doing the work of the Lord. And I ain't suited to it.

My LR niece's birthday is today. My sister has been torn between serving Elizabeth's favorite dinner, chicken enchilladas, or just telling everybody to take cover. They were without power for many days when the last 'cane blew through. Damn.
As for the women's shelter, somebody, seriously, has to be the voice of calm in the stormy sea of life. Just your thing. You are nothing if not the voice of calm.
