That dubious nomination would go to Orleans Parish District Attorney Eddie Jordan. As if it weren't bad enough that his foolish personnel decisions will likely cause the taxpayers to be stuck with a 3.7 million dollar judgment, it turns out that a suspect in a recent armed robbery repaired to Jordan's house while on the lam.

Eddie Jordan may be plenty stupid butI think to win the Worst District Attorney of 2007 award you'd have to perform more poorly than Mike Nifong here in North Carolina, who was not only devious, dishonest, and bad at his job, stupid, overbearing, inflammatory, opportunistic, unethical and immoral, but who also displayed actual malice, greed, willful ignorance, and not one shred of remorse for anything except getting disbarred.
Your point is well taken. I guess I should have created a new category for those still employed as D.A.'s.
