The Majesty of the Law

Nothing like this ever happens when I'm in court.

That's awesome. Did you read last week's high profile? I'm sure you know him, but I forget the name of the man it was about. He told a story, it's of a different sort than this one, about being a law clerk for a federal judge. My mom has talked about this same thing, how much it scared her--when there's no baliff, the clerks announce the judge's entrance. Mom always thought she'd say the wrong thing, but never really botched it. This guy said, "All Rise. Do you swear the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" That's a great story, right? Thank goodness, I'm never in court, so I always miss the good stuff.
Lord. I'm boring. Sorry.
