I Gotta Nikon Camera. I Love To Take Photographs.

Every January 7, local Civil War reenactors gather at historic Mount Holly Cemetery in downtown Little Rock to commemorate the death of David O. Dodd the so-called "Boy Martyr of the Confederacy" who was executed by Union troops for being a spy.  Those who are interested in the story can find it here:http://encyclopediaofarkansas.net/encyclopedia/entry-detail.aspx?entryID=2536# .

Here are some pictures from today's ceremony.  Suffice it to say these people take this stuff verrrrrry seriously.  I'll have more on this tomorrow.

Hi, I sent your wonderful photo of Kenton piping in the troops to him. Hope you don't mind. I think he was wearing a Stewart tartan. I will have to look closer.

I finally understand why the South lost. Our soldiers were all over 40!
